The HER-fomers of Creatures of the Night

  • Dorin, 60

is Venue Manager for the historic Majestic Theater, an avid live music superfan and caregiver and lover of all creatures furry and feathered.

    Her CREATURE:

    “People are strange...

    and, isn't it just GRAND?!?

What a boring world it would be without the strange, mysterious, captivating and odd people of the world? I like to believe I am one of those people. I have become a bit more daring, confident, fearless- all of which have helped me to grow and understand myself on a deeper level. Expressing myself through movement and dance with other incredible women has helped bring out so much joy and growth in my life!

  • Shehnaz, 54

Self-employed holistic esthetician and devoted mother of 2 adult kids. I am deeply committed to the journey of self-healing and growth. My path is one of learning, where I embrace the healing power of dance, song, and the warmth of home-cooked meals. Through embodying my true self and healing past traumas, I find joy in connecting with others, sharing the wisdom I've gained to support them on their journeys. My purpose is to nurture beauty inside and out, helping others to shine from within.

    Her Creature:

I've encountered sparks of fire, no shame, and elegance- each one transforming inits own unique way. The Dangerous Challenger channels her rage into fuel, propelling her toward her deepest desires, igniting love into a bonfire of passionate heat. The Naughty Provocateur rebels against societal shame, finding an erotic charge in pushing past old boundaries into new territories of love and sex. The Ice Queen, with her cool, icy elegance, exudes superiority and confidence, embodying the ultimate survival icon born from a core of emotion, disgust and arrogance.

  • Monica, 47

Is unapologetically in process without blame/shame or expectation of being authentically HERself.

    Her Creature

Naughty Provacateur (Shame/no shame), Blissful Pleaser (Love and Nurturing), Shy, Reluctant Enigma (Fear and exploration of deep mysteries of self) and perhaps a little Dangerous Challenger (anger and passion) are in the mix ...

HER- formers of Creatures of the Night

  • Abigail Jean, 26

Fine Arts& Mental Health/Holistic Educator, Composer, Creative, Dog Momma, Witch Woman. Founder of Life is a Theatre and The Temperance Collective pioneering a new wave of holistic education and life, embodying the way and song of the divine feminine.

    Her Creature

In a world where culture, stigma, trauma, and religion demonizes and controls womens pleasure, what happens when she takes it back? When a woman takes back her body, energy, pleasure, and voice and steps into all society fears she’ll be, she becomes not just powerful, but free. As we reclaim our right to feel, be, embody and express pleasure, heal our shame and trauma, we then open up the door for a partner to join in that pleasure. The wombman holds the key, will she open the door?

  • Mimmi, 75

Graduate of Meadows School of the Arts (SMU) in Dance. Dancer. Teacher. Choreographer.

    HER CREATURE:

    MEEE-OOOW

    Prowling Creature of the Night

Playful, unpredictable, curious, pouncing, snuggling, purring, stretchy, lazy...

For as long as I know, I have been fascinated by cats and how they move.

    My PuRRRRfect motto:

    Never Stop Moving...

  • Rhodessa Bell, 42

is a Dance Educator and a member of Muscle Memory Dance Company whose love for creating, teaching and performing spans more than two decades. She is grateful to have the world of dance be her life's work with its infinite possibilities for mental, physical and spiritual growth.

    Her Creature:

My Shy, Reluctant Enigma and Ice Queen have been very effective in helping me be discerning in choosing how and when I commit to a creative project. A lot of my time and energy is invested in choreography for my students. I have been keeping myself open for a movement exploration that feels authentic and relevant. I recently witnessed a discussion about masculine and feminine energy and how they push/pull, move and "dance" together to co-create life. And now I see it everywhere...

  • Heather Angell, 53

is the Founder/Creative Director of Woman's Werk. She uses her education, skills, innovation and "Mess" in loving devotion to reclaim the health, harmony and Wholeness of the world we co-create.

    Her Creature:

My leading shadowy creatures are very different from what I am in my daily life as Mom, Wife, Daughter, PTA member, Business Owner, etc- where I lead with nurturing, energetic and motivational aspects of me. On my darker side, I am actually quite introverted, rebellious, with some fire and deep and soulful longing. My dancing expression is an exploration of these depths of me- ones I don’t often share with the world.

So that the feminine is free, powerful, fully expressed

and all of creation thrives in  harmony

with ourselves, each other and our Earth…

Embodied Feminine Genius
